The EMSC Snowboard program is geared toward Alpine Snowboarding, Boardercross and Slopestyle.
The Snowboard Team trains at Eldora for the core of the season, Loveland for the early season and at Copper for pre-planned Boardercross course training dates. The team utilizes Slalom and Giant Slalom gate training to fine tune technique and will have an additional focus on Boardercross and Slopestyle training this season. The group spends time free-riding in a variety of terrain to build confidence and skills in all mountain settings.
Jr Snowboard 9-12 yrs
The Jr Snowboard program is for all mountain riders that are looking to develop more advanced skills. This 12 week program is the entry point for all riders that are interested in becoming great riders or competing, from ages 9 to 15. Saturday sessions use Slalom or Giant Slalom gates for training in the morning, and terrain park and all mountain freeriding in the afternoon. Program meets at the Eldora Race Shack, 8:30 AM - 2:00 PM
- 2011/2012 12 week Saturday program starts December 17th and runs through March 10th (no training December 24th)
Core Snowboard Team: 9 Years to College
Core Competition: The Core Snowboard Team competition program is designed for the rider who is interested in competing in any Slalom, Giant Slalom and Boardcross event. Riders work closely with coaches to improve riding technique through trainng on the hill, video analysis and suggested dryland traning. Riders participate in the USASA Regional Series. This program starts in November and concludes with Nationals at Copper the first week of April.

- Masters Team Program
Masters: The Masters Snowboard program is for the rider wants to improve thier riding skills and wants coaching to get to the next level. The Masters riders train with the Core Team with the emphasis on gate training. The Masters program is designed to be flexible with training schedules, attendance and race commitments. This program will be based on a day - use basis, training and racing days count toward the total program cost. Masters Racers will train to compete in the USASA Regional Series at Copper Mountain.
