PG - Elite

PG Elite Program

The PG Elite Program works specifically with the athlete committed to excellence, full time training, and dedication to the sport of alpine ski racing. The PG Elite Team’s home training elements include skiing in conjunction with the NCAA CU Division 1 Alpine Team.  Focus will be directed towards personal ownership and responsibility for skill acquisition, commitment to the competitive athlete pipeline and race calendar, while training up to six days a week on snow, starting preseason, and concluding in May.  Full-time training, team travel, racing and speed projects will support the RMD calendar. Individual goal setting, training/competition objectives, and calendar management will focus specifically on the individual’s strengths, areas of improvement, skill set and overall goals for the program.

The PG Elite Team provides professional coaching for the post-graduate athlete competing at FIS and NorAM levels.  One of the goals of the program is for Elite Team athletes to act as examples and mentors for younger EMSC athletes on and off the hill.

The Elite Team differs from most other post-graduate programs because LERT is creating a strong relationship with the University of Colorado and other institutions of higher learning. Athletes will have the opportunity to enroll in college classes while simultaneously training with our program. The University supports the program and our offices are adjacent to the main campus. This fortunate situation gives athletes outstanding training, racing and educational opportunities all at the same time, something that few other programs can offer.

The Elite Team offers you:

  • High athletic, educational and ethical standards.
  • Professional and experienced coaching.
  • Small-group coaching and training environments, with a low athlete-to-coach ratio.
  •  Elite-level athlete management.
  • Convenient, high-repetition conditioning and training at excellent facilities and venues.

Program: Roughly 120 Days on Snow Training and 59 Days Dryland.
