Nicole Silk

I have served on LERT’s Board for three years, bringing practical experience from over 25 years in the nonprofit sector. My background is in conservation, but I am equally passionate about getting kids outdoors and helping them build a lifelong love for adventure and good sportsmanship. I am committed to helping both EMSC and SMBA programs exceed expectations. Toward that end, I have championed annual processes for collecting feedback from families and athletes to help improve program excellence and improved athlete feedback opportunities to build confidence and excitement. I have also been deeply involved in fundraising, club events, financial oversight, and program discussions during my Board engagement. My kids – Alden and Ariana – have been involved in both SMBA (camps and now team) and EMSC (Jr. Race and now Core) for 7 years.
