February has been a great month for our team. We had a Slalom and a Giant Slalom Race on our home hill of Labelle at Eldora on February 10-11. What was a great weekend of great racing and some excellent results! The kids have been training hard and skiing hard, giving great attention to the fundamentals and preparing for what’s to come.
Last Thursday 2/22, the kids raced Super G in Aspen for 2 days and then headed to Vail for a day of Giant Slalom and a day of Slalom. All these races are qualifying races for the Junior Championships which are held in Winter Park from March 5-9. We want to wish all our kids good luck in their pursuit of qualifying for those Championship races.
All our athletes are working hard and skiing well, with amazing growth this season, but I want to give a special shoutout to the coaches who have done a great job in helping coach our athletes to where they are so far: Sam Bolton, Johannes Schmidt, Alison Dumond. Thank You!!!
